Writing Workshops for Secondary School Students and Adults
Group or individual, on-site or Zoom—Poetry, non-fiction, (personal essay, the cohesive & independent paragraph, personal narrative, memoir, sketches, description and observation, creative nonfiction, etc.).& short fiction
These sessions can be tailored to to suit any curriculum. My workshops are craft-focused: we’ll be discussing student work from the perspective of writers, but also as readers exploring how a work of art communicates on its own. Constructive analysis of student work will be integrated with close readings of curated and, sometimes, prescriptive models.
